Operations Manager

Role Purpose:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and assessment of all projects in collaboration with the relevant staff in each team to drive operational efficiency, sales and profitability. The role critically acts as the central decision maker for all day-to-day operational queries.
Key Accountabilities:
- Operational Leadership
As a key deliverable, this role will have oversight and responsibility for all projects underway to ensure they are planned and delivered to require standards while supporting the team internally as the central decision maker.
- Sales Management
Provision of an oversight support to the sales team to ensure all activities are tracked and managed appropriately to progress business growth in line with targets.
- Support Services
Ensure effective management of all external supplier and partner relationships such that the needs of the business are delivered upon in each area to the mutual benefit of all.
- People Management
Most role in the business will directly or indirectly report to this position. Therefore, a focus on creating and embedding effective people management practices is critical to support employee engagement and retention of staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years+ relevant experience in running/leading a business or large team
- Relevant business qualification (e.g., Accounting, Business Management etc.)
- Proven continuous improvement ethos and experience
- Problem solving experience
- Ability to see the big picture with a commonsense approach when logistically managing projects
- Direct people management experience for up to 6 people
- Professional approach and strong communicate skills amongst a variety of stakeholders, both verbal and written

This is a full time permanent role based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, subject to a six month probationary period. The normal working week is 40 hours predominately office hours Monday to Friday with a requirement for weekend working based on business needs.
While this position will have some flexibility to work remotely, as a central decision maker for operations daily in head office, a fully remote role is not suitable.
